About Us

Baltimore Digital Studios

After many requests we have begun offering high definition wedding videography services. For the 2008 season we will be building our video portfolio and as such are offering special discounts for the rest of the year.

While the vast majority of couples hire a professional photographer many choose to not hire a professional videographer. Often times this is one of their biggest regrets after the wedding. See this YouTube video as an example of a real life married couple describing their story. What photography shows in segments and flashes much like our memories video allows you to relive your wedding in real-time. And the one thing photography will never be able to  capture is the sound.

Photos cannot play back your vows, the officiant's service, readers, musicians, dance music, the applause of your guests, the laughter during toasts and any of the other numerous bits during your wedding that you can think of.

You can expect the same quality from Baltimore Digital Studios that you see on our photo galleries but in video form. As you may have seen on the About page Adam (Baltimore Digital Studios' principle photographer/videographer) has done video work for companies such as NBC, Comcast SportsNet, MASN and the Aberdeen IronBirds.

He has also videotaped Bill Clinton during one of his campaign stops this past year and had video projects featured on Good Morning America and in Fortune Small Business Magazine.

Our camera is state of the art, true broadcast-quality high definition. Even the Discovery Channel, whom have very stringent quality demands, approves of it. The camera records to memory cards just like our digital still cameras which means no moments will be missed at the ceremony (videographers who use tape must switch tapes in the middle of long ceremonies, when one card fills up it automatically switches to the next one without skipping a frame) and no tape dropouts (if you're familiar with digital video you may have seen or heard video freeze up/skip durinjg playback...that's known as a dropout). These are no longer issues with the particular camera we use.

Our 2008 Video package includes the following:

  • One videographer
  • Six hours of coverage with a 3-chip broadcast quality high definition camera that is excellent in low lighting conditions
  • Wireless microphone ceremony coverage
  • Full-length (unedited) standard definition DVD with the option for  Blu-Ray Disc in 2009.

All this for the one-time price of $600.00 plus 6% MD state tax.

Note: Unfortunately we do not offer video editing in 2008. However if you or another company would like to edit the video we can provide you with the raw footage. Contact us through our availability form or call for 2009 pricing.
